The Allen-Bradley 1794-OF4I module is a Flex I/O output analog module. Four isolated outputs are available on the module. The keyswitch position for the 1794-OF4I module is Position 4. Even though the module is designed so that it can be inserted or removed under backplane power, the field-side power should be removed before removing or inserting the module to prevent the formation of electrical arcs. The arcs can cause explosions in hazardous environments or they can result in the transmission of erroneous signals to field devices which can lead to unintended operation in the connected machines. The 1794-OF4I module can be used with the following terminal blocks: the 1794-TBNF, 1794-TBN, 1794-TBT,1 794-TB3, 1794-TB3TS, and the 1794-TB3S. The rated FlexBus voltage and current are 5 Volts DC and 50 milliamps, respectively.
The 1794-OF4I module supports external power supply with a 19.2 to 31.2 Volts DC voltage range and it can tolerate a 5% AC ripple.
