About 1794-OE4
The 1794-OE4 industrial module is an output module. It is part of the Allen-Bradley Flex I/O product line which also includes input modules and combination modules. Four non-isolated and single-ended outputs are available on the 1794-OE4 output module. The resolution supported by the module is 12 bits plus sign: the voltage resolution is 0.156 millivolt per cnt, and the current resolution is 0.320 microamps per cnt. The data format is a left-justified, 16-bit 2’s complement format. For current output terminals, the output current range is configurable and it can be set to either 0 to 20 milliamps or to 4 to 20 milliamps. For voltage output terminals, the output range can be set to either 0 to 10 Volts or +/-10 Volts. The maximum current load on the voltage output is 3 milliamps.
For both current and voltage terminals, the step response to 64% is 24 milliseconds. The resistance load range for the current outputs is 5 to 750 Ohms at 24 Volts DC. The absolute accuracy for voltage terminals is 0.1333% full scale at 25% and the absolute accuracy for current terminals is 0.425% full scale at 25%. For current terminals, the accuracy drift is 0.0069% full scale per degree Celsius and for voltage terminals, the accuracy drift is 0.0045% full scale per degree Celsius. The 1794-OE4 module is compatible with the 1794-TB3TS and 1794-TBN terminal base units. The module draws 70 milliamps of current from an external supply rated for 24 Volts DC and 150 milliamps of current from an external supply rated for 12 Volts DC.
