The 1794-IF8IHNFXT module from Allen-Bradley is a specialized Flex I/O series input module known as a HART isolated analog module. The 1794-IF8IHNFXT HART input module is made to be used with the ControlNet network or with the Ethernet/IP network. The default current rating on this analog input module is 0 to 20 milliamps, but it can also support a current range from 4 to 20 milliamps if an application requires it. The users can select from 7 input filters and from 7 different input data formats when working with the 1794-IF8IHNFXT HART input module.
The Allen-Bradley Flex I/O 1794-IF8IHNFXT HART analog input module supports loop alarms which can detect short circuits and open circuits. It is known as a HART module because it supports 1 HART modem per input channel and it complies with HART versions 5, 6, and 7 except for the fact that it does not support multi-drop configurations. All of the module’s features can be configured independently.
