The 1794-IF8IH module is a FLEX I/O highway addressable remote transducer input module that has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This module can accept up to 8 different analog inputs, and these inputs are isolated and they can all operate with a current that goes from 4 to 20 milliamps or from 0 to 20 milliamps. The default current range goes from 0 to 20 milliamps. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1794-IF8IH FLEX I/O highway addressable remote transducer input module provides functionality without needing additional switches or jumpers, and each channel can receive multiple data ranges that can also be independently programmed. The module comes with a remote transmitter alarm and a lead breakage detection method.
