It is also known as a combination module because it contains both inputs and outputs instead of just inputs or just outputs. The purpose of the 1794-IE4XOE2XT module is to function as a block transfer module that can interface analog signals with any Allen-Bradley PLC or programmable logic controller that supports block transfer.
