About 1794-IE12
The 1794-IE12 module is a high-density Flex I/O module manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It comes with 12 non-isolated inputs that are single-ended. It has a nominal voltage rating of 24 Volts DC. The module communicates with analog signals by using programmable controllers that have block transfer capabilities. The input from the memory module can be transferred to a designated area easily. The 1794-IE12 input module is made to be used in keyswitch position 3. This Flex I/O module can be easily connected to the terminal base unit with the correct wiring. The module uses the successive approximate conversion type method for operation. It has a data conversion rate of 8 milliseconds. The resolution voltage and current ratings of the module are 320 uV/cnt and 0.641uA/cnt respectively. The input voltage terminal of the module is user-configurable and it has a voltage rating of 10 Volts.
The Allen-Bradley 1794-IE12 input module has a normal mode rejection ratio of -3 db and -52 db with the voltage terminal, and of -3 db and -29 db with the current terminal. The input impedance for the voltage terminal is less than 1 megaohm, and the current terminal impedance is 100 ohms. This high-density input module is able to handle a maximum overload of 30 Volts continuous voltage or 32 milliamps of current with one channel at a time. The 1794-IE12 input module is factory calibrated. It uses the 16-bit 2’s complement data format. The front section of the module has a green and red LED indicator to show the power/status updates. The Flexbus current rating of the module is 80 milliamps. No isolation is present between the individual channels of the module.
