The 1794-IB16D module is a Flex I/O diagnostics module by Allen-Bradley. It is a digital diagnostics module and helps to diagnose faults and problems with the input and output devices, I/O wiring, and the user power supply in a Flex I/O system. The diagnostics module helps to reduce the installation time and it also helps to reduce risks to the system and to fix errors quickly. The module is compatible with different network protocols including the ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, and remote I/O networks. The 1794-IB16D diagnostics module interfaces with different sensing devices and it detects whether they are on and off.
