The 1794-ASBLT adapter module is an industrial-grade communications adapter module for the Allen-Bradley 1794 FLEX I/O series. This component is made by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation and it is part of a system which is capable of communicating through various industrial networks. The FLEX I/O system supports communication networks like the EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, Remote I/O, DeviceNet, and the PROFIBUS DP networks. The adapters like the 1794-ASBLT module have an integrated power supply that is capable of converting 24 Volts DC voltage to 5 Volts DC voltage in order to transfer and receive the needed I/O data and configuration data.
