The 5094-SAJMPR-QTY10 kit is an Allen-Bradley parts kit that comes with 10 SA power jumpers. These power jumpers are used to make daisy chain SA power connections between cascaded terminal bases in an industrial controller system. The 5094-SAJMPR-QTY10 SA power jumper kit is part of the FLEX 5000 product series from Allen-Bradley. These SA power jumpers are meant to be installed in the complete FLEX 5000 system with the tools that are provided in the tool kit that is also available from Allen-Bradley. The 5094-SAJMPR-QTY10 SA power jumpers are meant to be used with screw-type terminal bases only. They do not support connections to spring-type terminal bases.
Installing the SA power jumpers from the Allen-Bradley FLEX 5000 5094-SAJMPR-QTY10 accessory kit is fairly simple. The technicians installing the power jumpers simply need to align the pins on the jumper with the 4 terminal points on the terminal base that they want to use to make the daisy-chain connection, and then press the jumper pins down evenly and tighten them to a torque of 0.4 N-m or 3.5 pounds on an inch. The torque rating for the 5094-SAJMPR-QTY10 SA power jumpers is the same as the torque for the other wires that are connected to the terminal bases in the system. The technicians must also ensure that no debris falls onto the power jumpers or the terminal bases during installation because debris can damage devices or disrupt operation. These devices do not come with enclosures. The 5094-SAJMPR-QTY10 SA power jumpers can be used in environments with ambient temperatures between -40 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit.
