The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3WSXT block is a removable terminal block or RTB that has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation to be part of the complete mounting base mechanism for the Allen-Bradley Flex 5000 series I/O modules. The 5094-RTB3WSXT removable terminal block by itself cannot be used as a base for an I/O module, but it is an essential part of the whole terminal base assembly in which it is connected to a mounting base. The terminal base assembly in turn can be mounted on a DIN rail. The 5094-RTB3WSXT removable terminal block is important because all of the wiring for the I/O module that is mounted on it is connected to it rather than to the I/O module itself. This makes it easy to service, remove, or replace the I/O module when necessary.
The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 5094-RTB3WSXT Flex 5000 removable terminal block connects to the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 5094-MBXT Flex 5000 mounting base, and this creates the complete Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 5094-TB3WSXT Flex 5000 terminal base. This terminal base can support the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 5094-OW8I and 5094-OW8IXT 8-point output modules and the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 5094-OW4IS and 5094-OW4ISXT 4-point output modules.
