Allen-Bradley manufactures the 5094-RTB3TSXT Flex 5000 Removable Terminal Block for use with the Flex 5000 I/O system modules. It comes with an embedded Cold Junction Compensation (CJC) feature and it is intended to provide Flex 5000 I/O module terminations and terminations for the base to enhance seamless field-side wiring in a system. All the Flex 5000 I/O system modules need a terminal base to improve installation, and a typical terminal base comprises a mounting base such as the 5094-MB and 5094-MBXT mounting bases and a removable terminal block. The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3TSXT Removable Terminal Block’s embedded CJC thermistor provides the thermocouple modules with cold junction compensation. It also features a side shield bar for analog as well as the high-speed counter modules. The user of this terminal can position it in the proper place by using front-side key switches. Additionally, there is an I/O connector edge and a module guide rail that is used for holding the inputs and outputs in the right place.
The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3TSXT Flex 5000 Removable Terminal Block operates on a maximum input current of 100 milliamps, with a voltage rating of 10 Volts DC and Sensor Source Voltage (SSV) output current rating of 1.8 Amps at 24 Volts DC. This terminal block has 10 Amps of maximum Sensor Actuator (SA) power rating with an input voltage ranging from 18 to 32 Volts DC. It comes with a basic insulation and a continuous isolation voltage of 250 Volts AC each between the chassis and channels as well as between the chassis and SA. The 5094-RTB3TSXT Flex 5000 Removable Terminal Block has spring-type I/O terminal strips with a solid copper conductor with wire sizes of 0.34 x 1.5 millimeters square and with 1.2 millimeters of insulation thickness.
