The 5094-RTB3TS Terminal Block is an Allen-Bradley Removable Terminal Block or RTB with a Cold Junction Compensation (CJC) feature that is designed for the Flex 5000 I/O system modules. This RTB is part of the Flex 5000 terminal base assembly product line consisting of base terminals for the Flex I/O modules and field-side wiring connections. This block, along with an appropriate mounting base, makes a complete Flex 5000 terminal base assembly. The terminal block and the mounting base must be ordered separately. The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3TS RTB features a front-panel I/O edge connector as well as a module guide rail for an I/O module to hold the module in the correct place and to hold it securely. It also comes with various key switches that are used to set up the module in the right position. This terminal block also features a rear shield bar for the high-speed counter modules and analog I/O modules.
The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3TS RTB has an input current of 100 milliamps with an output sensor sourcing voltage rating of 1.8 Amps at 24 Volts DC. This terminal operates on a current rating of 10 Amps and on 18 to 32 Volts DC operating voltage. The basic insulation of this terminal block that surrounds each conductor is 250 Volts AC (continuous) for chassis to channel and for chassis to SA isolation. This terminal features spring-type terminals, including one for each channel that is used to link the I/O SSV wiring, backplane power, connecting commons, embedded CJC thermistor, and the power supplied by the users to the terminal block. The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3TS RTB is certified and approved for compliance with the c-UL-us, KCC, CE, IECEx, RCM, and Ex standards.
