The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3S RTB is a removable terminal block manufactured as a Flex 5000 I/O module series RTB. It can connect to the 5094-MBXT and 5094-MB mounting bases to make a complete I/O terminal base assembly. The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3S RTB is intended to host the I/O modules and to provide a convenient and simplified means for installing the field-side wiring. This Allen-Bradley RTB supports DIN rail mounting on a DIN rail that is made of chromate-coated steel or zinc-plated. The removable terminal block comes with a spring-type I/O terminal on its front side for the wiring of input and output connections, backplane power connections, operator-supplied power connections, and commons connections. The FLEX 5000 I/O terminals have approximate measurements of 0.34 x 1.5 millimeters squared, and they operate with a solid copper wire with an average insulation thickness of 1.2 millimeters.
The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3S RTB features a current rating of 2.0 Amps per channel and 10 Amps of maximum pass-through current for the sensor-actuator or SA power. It also features an acceptable voltage range from 18 to 32 Volts DC, with 32 Volts DC of nominal voltage. This removable terminal block is not isolated like most RTBs, and it comes without any built-in channel-to-channel isolation. However, it features a basic isolation rating of 250 Volts AC between channels and the chassis and between the sensor actuator and chassis.
