The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB32V RTB module is a removable terminal block from the Flex 5000 series. When combined with an Allen-Bradley 5094-MB mounting base, the Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB32V removable terminal block makes a key component in an industrial terminal base assembly known as the 5094-TB32V terminal base assembly on which a variety of Flex 5000 input and output modules can be mounted. The 5094-RTB32V removable terminal block cannot be used as a complete mounting assembly for a module on its own, but when it is part of a complete mounting assembly, it makes it easy for technicians to wire the input and output module, and easy to install and remove the module. The removable terminal block is the part of the assembly that takes all of the module’s input and output wiring connections, which means that the module itself can be easily pressed into place and easily pulled out without disconnecting any wiring.
The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB32V removable terminal block comes with keyswitches that are set to positions 1 and 4, which means that it can only host Flex 5000 input and output modules that require keyswitch positions 1 and 4, and which also prevents the wrong type of module from being installed on the removable terminal block.
