About 5094-OF8XT
The 5094-OF8XT module is an Allen-Bradley manufactured analog current/voltage output module. It converts digital values to analog signals and it accepts different ranges of output power. This Flex 5000 series module uses the producer/consumer communication model. This communication model is based on the intelligent data exchange between a module and other system devices. It produces data in the devices without the devices being polled. This output module complies with the IEC standards and meets different environmental and industrial standards. It is powered with a 24 Volts DC voltage supply that is connected to the SA terminal. This power supply provides field-side power to the module. The 5094-OF8XT output module comes with an open enclosure. The temperature for operation should be set between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius.
The 5094-OF8XT output module supports different output voltages and current ranges. The supported voltage ranges are 0 to 10 Volts, 0 to 5 Volts, and +/- 10 Volts, and the supported current range is 0 to 20 or 4 to 20 milliamps. The backplane power voltage is set at 15 Volts DC and the current is set at 75 milliamps maximum. The 5094-OF8XT output module has a maximum power dissipation rating of 3.7 Watts and a maximum thermal dissipation of 12.62 BTU per hour.
