About 5094-OB16XT
The 5094-OB16XT module is a 16-point output module. It is part of the Flex 5000 I/O series from Allen-Bradley. It can be used with the CompactLogix 5380, Compact GuardLogix 5380, ControlLogix 5580, and GuardLogix 5580 controllers. The 5094-OB16XT output module is designed for use in extreme environments. The output state change time for the module is 100 microseconds. Individual output points on the 5094-OB16XT output module can be configured to specific states including “off,” “on,” and “hold last state.” Any output on the module must remain in the “on” state for a time duration of at least 250 milliseconds for a short circuit or an overload to be detected. In the event of short-circuit condition existing for an extended period of time, it will be detected, provided that the output is switching at a rate not faster than 1 millisecond.
The duration of the fault mode per point can be configured for 1 second, 2 seconds, 5 seconds, and 10 seconds. The Allen-Bradley 5094-OB16XT output module supports no load detection, thermal shut-off feature, and time-schedule output control feature. The I/O module also supports the CIP sync feature.
