The Allen-Bradley 5094-IB16XT module is a sinking input module with 16 digital I/O points that is manufactured as part of the FLEX 5000 I/O product line. It is engineered and intended to work with the Compact GuardLogix 5380, GuardLogix 5580, CompactLogix 5380, and ControlLogix 5580 controllers by Allen-Bradley. This sinking input module comes with 16 input and output points that are used for connection and communication. It has an on-state current rating of 1 milliamp per I/O channel at minimum, and it also comes with an on-state voltage ranging from 18 to 32 Volts DC. Additionally, this module can safely operate in hazardous industrial environments. The Allen-Bradley 5094-IB16XT module is a standard module rather than a safety module since it does not have the functional safety capabilities possessed by the safety modules. It has an off-state voltage of 5 Volts DC at maximum with an off-state current of 1.5 milliamps.
