About 5094-HSCXT
The Allen-Bradley 5094-HSCXT module is a specialty module from the Allen-Bradley FLEX 5000 product line. More specifically, the 5094-HSCXT specialty module is a high-speed counter module that can be used to increase the efficiency of FLEX 5000 machine control systems. In a FLEX 5000 control system, the 5094-HSCXT high-speed counter module must be connected to an encoder and to an external power source that is rated for 24 Volts DC power on the left SA +/- terminals. The 24 Volts DC power source is intended to provide the field-side power for the high-speed counter module. This module can connect to a differential encoder or to a single-ended encoder as well as to both discrete input devices and discrete output devices.
The Allen-Bradley FLEX 5000 5094-HSCXT high-speed counter module has a nominal on-state voltage of 24 Volts DC while its minimum and maximum on-state voltage ratings are 18 Volts DC and 32 Volts DC, respectively. It supports a minimum on-state current rating of 3 milliamps and 8 milliamps of input current per channel at 18 to 32 Volts DC.
