The Allen-Bradley 5094-CE30 Cable is an interconnect cable and an accessory for the FLEX 5000 series I/O modules. It is designed to help in separating the FLEX 5000 I/O system into 2 different banks of modules. This cable also supplies the system-side power to the modules in the FLEX 5000 I/O series. The 5094-CE30 Interconnect Cable transfers the data to the Ethernet/IP network at high speed between the FLEX 5000 I/O modules and Logix 5000 controllers as well as in the industrial system. The operators of this cable should place it in a certified protective enclosure that is rated according to the ATEX/IECEx Zone 2 standards. Additionally, this cable comes with a classification for corrosion resistance that is in line with the ISA S71.04 G3 standards. It should be used in areas with a pollution rating not exceeding Pollution Degree 2. This cable features a power rating of 1.8 Amps at 15 Volts DC (backplane).
The 5094-CE30 FLEX 5000 Interconnect Cable by Allen-Bradley is pre-tested before shipping and it is certified to be fit for operation in cold environments. Additionally, it meets the requirements of the IEC 60068-2-1 Test Ad standards. This cable has also been tested for operation under dry heat in line with the IEC 60068-2-2 Test Bd standards.
