The 5094-CE05 cable is an industrial connector cable for the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Flex 5000 series devices. With the 5094-CE05 cable, a Flex 5000 I/O system can be separated into 2 individual banks of I/O modules, and this cable also makes it possible to provide the Flex 5000 I/O modules with system-side power. The number of I/O modules in each of the 2 banks of modules in this system depends on the module capacity of the adapter module in each bank. The maximum backplane power that the 5094-CE05 cable can handle is 1.8 Amps at 15 Volts DC. It is only 0.5 meters or 1.6 feet long and it weighs 390 grams or 13.8 ounces.
