The 5094-AEN2TR Ethernet/IP Adapter is a product of Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is manufactured as part of the FLEX 5000 series of configurable modules and it has 2 RJ45 ports. This Ethernet/IP adapter is specially engineered to facilitate the high-speed transfer of data to and from the Ethernet/IP network as well as between the Logix 5000 controllers and the FLEX 5000 I/O modules. The adapter can support a maximum of 16 FLEX 5000 I/O modules at a given time. It is intended only for industrial environments, with an open enclosure rating that makes it suitable for indoor applications. This unit supports DIN rail mounting and it has a removable terminal block. Additionally, the 5094-AEN2TR EtherNet/IP Adapter Module features a reset lever and DIN rail latching. The IP address label is marked on the adapter’s front side, while the Ethernet address is marked on the ports.
The Allen-Bradley 5094-AEN2TR Ethernet/IP Adapter Module comes with LED indicators that show the status of the adapter, the net activity, and the data and information transfer when using the Link 1 and Link 2 ports. This adapter also has an IP address rotary switch, and it is certified for compliance with the c-UL-us, RCM, KC, and CE standards. It is used with a voltage rating of 18 to 32 Volts DC and with a 1880 milliamps current rating. The Allen-Bradley 5094-AEN2TR Ethernet/IP Adapter Module also supports 5700 milliamps of inrush current for 100 milliseconds and a backplane current of 1800 milliamps with 15 Volts DC backplane voltage. This adapter module should be used in an environment that is free of dirt and dust as well as free of corrosive gases and vapors.
