This tool kit is the only kind of tool kit that the manufacturer recommends using to build Allen-Bradley ControlNet systems because it is designed specifically for these kinds of systems and so it can guarantee the best and most reliable connection when it is used along with Allen-Bradley ControlNet cables and connectors in a ControlNet coax media system.
The Allen-Bradley 1786-CTK ControlNet tool kit is a small kit that contains all of the essential tools for building a ControlNet coax media system, and these tools are a cable-stripping tool with blades for stripping PVC and FEP, a set of terminating resistors and extra connectors, memory blade cartridges with 2 sets of memory blades, a memory blade holder, a calibration and flare holder, a knife, a crimping tool, and a set of wire cutters. Note that if the ControlNet coax media system is using IP 67 rated connectors, the users will need to use a heat gun and they will need to acquire the heat gun separately because the 1786-CTK tool kit does not come with one. The tools in this kit can be used to perform maintenance on the system as well as to put it together.
