About 1786-FS300
The Allen-Bradley 1786-FS300 cable is a cable assembly which measures 300 meters in length. It is a 200-micron cable which is designed for use with the 1786-RFPS repeater, which is a short-distance fiber repeater. The repeater is designed to be used with ControlNet networks and it supports 2 fiber segments per module. Topologies supported by the repeater include the start and point to point topologies. The 1786-FS300 cable can also be used with ControlNet daughter cards with catalog numbers 1788-CNF and 1788-CNFR. These daughtercards can be installed in any host system which supports ControlNet daughtercards. The daughtercards should only be installed when the host system power is off. After the card is installed, it can be connected to an approved fiber cable such as the 1786-FS300 cable.

The recommended operating temperature for the cable is 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and the recommended storage temperature range is -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The installation of the repeater cards, daughtercards, and the associated accessories, including the optical cable, should only be performed by trained technicians.
