The 1791-NDV I/O block is a 24 Volts DC analog I/O block that has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This analog block is a circuit with a programmable controller interface, I/O connections, and a power supply. This Block I/O device is fully compatible with the Allen-Bradley PLC-2, PLC-3, and PLC-5 programmable logic controllers. This analog block comes with 4 inputs and 2 voltage outputs. The analog block can communicate with another programmable controller device through the block transfer or discrete transfer functions. The input of the 1791-NDV analog I/O block can be a voltage input or a current input. The voltage source of the block helps to accommodate loop-powered current transducer input.
The front section of the 1791-NDV I/O block has LED indicators to show the power, communication, and fault status of the block during the operation.
