The 1791-8AR module is an input and output module that has been designed to work as a Block I/O module. This Block I/O module has been included in the 1791 line of Block I/O modules that are made for the automation industry by Allen-Bradley. Before the installation of this module, all the equipment needs to have compatible specifications and the total number of blocks in the network must be determined to configure the whole system properly. Other important things to consider before the installation of the Allen-Bradley 1791-8AR input and output module are the total distance that the installation covers, the transmission rate that is desired, and if fuses are going to be included in the system. When mounting the block, a distance of at least 2 inches must be left between all of the blocks in the system to ensure ventilation.
