The Allen-Bradley 825-MCM5 825-P is a Current Converter Module used to manage the motor current for Allen-Bradley's Bulletin 825 Smart Motor Manager. It has a working current range of 1 to 5 amps. The converter has an IEC-rated voltage of 690VAlternate Current and a UL operating voltage of 600 AC. It is only compatible with the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 825-P Module. With a rated continuous thermal current of 6A and an operational current range of 1A to 5A, the converter module is very versatile. Its highest-rated impulse strength is 6KV, and its reverse saturation current value is 60A. A 2 x 2.5/1 x 4 (2 x 20-14/1 x 20-12 AWG) contact terminal and a ground terminal screw torque of 1.4 N•m/12 Lb-in are found on the main circuit of the 825-MCM5 Current Converter Module. The 825-MCM5 converter is designed to be stored in an environment with a temperature range between -40 and +85ºC (-40 and +185ºF). Its operating temperature (ambient) range is -20 to +60ºC (-4 to +140ºF), with an ambient non-condensing relative humidity range of 5 - 95%. The converter module is capable of withstanding a 3G vibration at a frequency of 10 to 500Hz and an operating shock of up to 30G for 18ms. It may be deployed at a maximum altitude of 2000M. The converter is UL, CE, and CSA-approved, and it is packaged in an IP20-rated container. The net measurements of the 825-MCM5 Current Converter Module are 120 x 85 x 102 mm, and its weight is approximately 570g.
