Allen-Bradley designed the 592 overload relays to protect motors, motor controllers, and power wiring from overloads, phase losses, ground faults, stalls, and jams. The 592 overload relays come with DIP switches that allow the users to select several functions, including a manual reset function, an automatic reset function, a test function, the ground fault protection function, the stall and jam protection function, and the setting of the adjustable trip class. The 592 overload relays also have communication capabilities that can be used to control them or to obtain status information. These relays also have features that prevent communication losses. The non-volatile operating memory in the 592 overload relays is protected from losses. These relays come with manual reset buttons. The 592 overload relays must be connected to contactors when they are installed. Different 592 overload relays support different contactor sizes. The 592 overload relays support power supply input voltage ratings of 110/240 Volts AC at 50/60 Hertz of frequency and control circuit operating voltage ranges of 85 to 264 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz of frequency. These relays consume 6 Watts of maximum power. Some 592 overload relays support hard contact trip relay outputs and some support triac outputs. The 592 overload relays can support single-phase or 3-phase motor current. Many 592 overload relays are eutectic alloy relays, and they require 3 heater elements when they operate. Some of these relays are open relays with no enclosure, while others are protected by general-purpose enclosures. The 592 overload relays without enclosures can operate at -20 to 55 degrees Celsius, and the relays with enclosures can operate at -20 to 40 degrees Celsius.

592-EC2ACAllen-Bradley’s 592-EC2AC relay is an E3 Plus overload relay from bulletin 592 with in-built ground fault detection as it is intended to protect single-phase or three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors against overload, phase loss, and ground faults. It contains four sourcing inputs and two normally open (NO) output units; it has a rated current range of 1 to 5 amps and a nominal operating voltage of 690 VAC. It is widely used in industrial applications such as motor control, HVAC, and process control.Buy Now
592-EEDCThe Allen-Bradley 592-EEDC relay is an overload relay from the Bulletin 592 series. It is a solid-state relay with a 120% FLA trip rating. The 592-EEDC relay supports ambient compensation and is sensitive to phase loss. The protection class rating of the 592-EEDC relay is IP20. This relay must be mounted inside a suitable cabinet to protect it from moisture. The 592-EEDC relay supports automatic or manual resetting. The weight of the overload relay is 0.52 kilograms. It complies with multiple standards including the UL508, NEMA ICS 2-1993 Part 4, EN 60947-4-1, CSA C22.2 No. 14, and EN 60947-5-1 standards.Buy Now
