The Allen-Bradley 5069 Compact 5000 series is a series of different I/O modules and Ethernet/IP adapters. The types of modules that are available in the 5069 Compact 5000 series include analog I/O modules, digital I/O modules, safety I/O modules, serial modules, address reserve modules, high-speed counter modules, and field potential distributor modules. The 5069 Compact 5000 I/O modules function as the local I/O modules in the Allen-Bradley CompactLogix 5380 systems and in the Allen-Bradley Compact GuardLogix industrial controller systems. Additionally, the Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 Logix Designer software is the software that is used to configure these modules, and these modules can operate on module power (MOD power), sensor/actuator power (SA power), and local actuator power (LA power).

 

The Allen-Bradley 5069 Compact 5000 I/O modules are available with different numbers and ratios of input and output points and they can be analog or digital modules with sinking I/O or sourcing I/O. The maximum surrounding air temperature that the 5069 Compact 5000 devices can tolerate and function in is 60 degrees Celsius or 140 degrees Fahrenheit with an ambient relative humidity level between 5 and 95%, non-condensing. The ideal operating temperature range for the 5069 Compact 5000 devices is from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius or 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit while the ideal storage temperature range is from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius or -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The Ethernet/IP adapters from the 5069 Compact 5000 series are used to allow industrial machines and systems to communicate with the Ethernet/IP network.
