About 5069-RTB64-SCREW
The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB64-SCREW Compact 5000 Removable Terminal Block kit is a power RTB for the Allen-Bradley Compact 5000 I/O system. This removable terminal block is designed for wiring power sources to the CompactLogix 5380 controllers, Compact GuardLogix 5380 controllers, and the 5069-AEN2TR EtherNet/IP module. The 5069-RTB64-SCREW RTB kit is supplied in a removable terminal block kit consisting of one 4-pin 5069-RTB4-SCREW power RTB, one 6-pin 5069-RTB6-SCREW RTB, and a pack of terminal screws. The 4-pin 5069-RTB4-SCREW RTB is used for wiring the system side power (MOD power), while the 5069-RTB6-SCREW RTB is used for connecting the field-side (SA power) power for the 5069-AEN-2TR EtherNet/IP module.
The 5069-RTB64-SCREW RTB kit features screw-type terminals that make it easy to wire the modules by using simple tools such as a screwdriver. The 5069-RTB64-SCREW RTB kit is sold separately from the compatible module and it does not support installation or wiring while under power. An external power source can be connected to the 5069-RTB64-SCREW kit MOD power RTB via the following steps. First, turn off the power source and strip no less than 12 millimeters of insulation from the wires that are going to be connected to the MOD RTB terminals. Then, attach the wire to the terminals and tightly bolt the screws with 0.35 pounds on an inch of maximum screw torque to hold the wires firmly in place in the terminal. The 5069-RTB64-SCREW RTBs can then be installed on the adapter module by hooking the bottom of the RTB to the adapter module using the interlocking pieces and pushing the RTB against the module until it clicks into place. The 5069-RTB64-SCREW RTBs have an open enclosure design and an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
