About 5069-RTB6-SPRING
The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB6-SPRING Removable Terminal Block is a field-side (SA) power terminal block with spring clamp-type terminals. It is designed to connect the wiring to the Allen-Bradley controllers and I/O modules and it is compatible with the Allen-Bradley 5069-AEN2TR EtherNet/IP module and the Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and Compact GuardLogix 5380 series of controllers. The 5069-RTB6-SPRING Removable Terminal Block has a removable spring clamp terminal that allows for a simplified and convenient SA power wiring process without tools. It provides a wiring arm for the 5069-AEN2TR adapter module and the CompactLogix.Compact GuardLogix controllers. The 5069-RTB6-SPRING Removable Terminal Block is not included with the controllers or adapter module, however. The users must order it separately. Like other Compact 5000 RTBs, the 5069-RTB6-SPRING Removable Terminal Block must not be installed or removed under power.
During the SA power wiring process, make sure to turn off the power from the SA power source before beginning any of the wiring on the Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB6-SPRING Removable Terminal Block. Strip at least 10 millimeters (0.39 inches) of wire insulation from the conductor that is going to be connected to the SA power removable terminal block, push the stripped conductor inside the terminal hole while clamping down the terminal spring with a screwdriver, and then relieve the spring clamp after every wire is secured properly in the terminal. To make sure that the 5069-RTB6-SPRING Removable Terminal Block is installed on the EtherNet/IP adapter module, clip the bottom interlocking piece of the SA power RTB to the adapter and slide it down firmly against the module until it clicks properly into place. The 5069-RTB6-SPRING Removable Terminal Block is designed with an open-style enclosure that is suitable for most industrial environments.
The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB6-SPRING Removable Terminal Block is a 6-pin wiring base for the Compact 5000 I/O modules. This RTB is used with the CompactLogix 5380 and Compact GuardLogix 5380 series controllers, and the 5069-AEN2TR EtherNet/IP adapter module.
