About 5069-RTB6-SCREW

The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB6-SCREW Removable Terminal Block is a sensor/actuator (SA) power RTB from the Allen-Bradley Compact 5000 product line. The 5069-RTB6-SCREW Removable Terminal Block is used for wiring the GuardLogix 5380 controllers, the CompactLogix 5380 controllers, and the 5069-AEN2TR EtherNet/IP adapter module. The 5069-RTB6-SCREW Removable Terminal Block features screw terminals that can be used for simplified field-side wiring. It comes as part of an assembly kit (the 5069-RTB64-SCREW kit) consisting of 2 removable terminal blocks (the 6-pin 5069-RTB6-SCREW RTB and the 4-pin 5069-RTB4-SCREW RTB) and a pack of terminal screws. Generally, the 5069-RTB64-SCREW Removable Terminal Block kit is not included with the controllers or adapter module and it has to be ordered separately in the kit.

The 5069-RTB6-SCREW Removable Terminal Block, like every Compact 5000 RTB, does not support insertion and removal under power. It is necessary to disconnect the power source before the removal or installation of the RTB. The 5069-RTB6-SCREW Removable Terminal Block is attached to the adapter by hooking it directly to the adapter module and sliding it down against the adapter until it clicks into place. To wire the SA (field side) power source to the field-side of the 5069-RTB6-SCREW Removable Terminal Block safely, verify that the power is disconnected first. Strip off 0.39 inches (10 millimeters) of insulation from the wires, insert the power wires into the terminals, and turn the screw to close the terminal down in place on the wires. The supported conductors for wiring include solid or stranded copper wire with dimensions of 0.5 to 1.5 square millimeters (22 to 16 AWG). The 5069-RTB6-SCREW Removable Terminal Block has an open enclosure and an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.

The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB6-SCREW Removable Terminal Block is a 6-pin wiring base for the modules from the Compact 5000 I/O system. This RTB is used with the CompactLogix 5380 controllers, the Compact GuardLogix 5380 controllers, and the 5069-AEN2TR EtherNet/IP adapter module.
