About 5069-RTB5-SPRING
The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB5-SPRING Compact 5000 I/O Removable Terminal Block is a 5-pin removable terminal block with spring-clamp terminals used for wiring CompactLogix 5380 controllers, Compact GuardLogix controllers, and the 5069-AENTR EtherNet/IP adapter module. This device provides a wiring base for every field-side and system side wiring connection. The 5069-RTB5-SPRING Removable Terminal Block is not included with the compatible I/O modules. It has to be ordered individually. The 5069-RTB5-SPRING Removable Terminal Block, like every removable terminal block in the Compact 5000 series, is not designed for removal and insertion under power. The 5069-RTB5-SPRING Removable Terminal Block is supplied in a factory kit with two 5069-RTB5-SPRING Removable Terminal Blocks and some terminal screws for easy installation.
The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB5-SPRING Removable Terminal Block has spring-clamp terminals that allow for simplified wiring and eliminate the need for special tools. The wiring process is as simple as clamping down the spring-clamp terminals with a screwdriver and inserting the wiring into the terminal. The 5069-RTB5-SPRING Removable Terminal Block supports either solid or stranded copper wire with a 0.5 x 1.5 square millimeters (22 to 16 AWG) standard wire size. Both the MOD power and SA power sources can be wired on the same terminal. To wire the S/A power source to the RTB, verify that the power is turned off and the power source is disconnected. Strip 0.39 inches of insulation material from the wires and insert the exposed end of the wires into the terminal holes. To install the 5069-RTB5-SPRING Removable Terminal Block on the adapter, attach the interlocking part of the RTB to the module and then slide it down until it clicks into place.
The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB5-SPRING Removable Terminal Block is a 5-pin wiring base for the Compact 5000 I/O modules. This RTB is used with the 5069-AENTR EtherNet/IP adapter module, and it has spring-type terminals.
