About 5069-RTB5-SCREW
The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB5-SCREW Removable Terminal Block is a 5-pin removable terminal block for wiring the 5069-AENTR EtherNet/IP adapter module. The 5069-RTB5-SCREW Removable Terminal Block is designed for both system side (MOD power) and field-side (SA power) wiring. Both the MOD power and SA power can be wired on the same terminals. The 5069-RTB5-SCREW Removable Terminal Block is also used for the field side and system side wiring of the CompactLogix 5380 and Compact GuardLogix 5380 series controllers. It is not included in the package with any of these devices, however, and the users must order it separately. The 5069-RTB5-SCREW Removable Terminal Block provides the EtherNet/IP adapter module with an installation base as well as a wiring platform for all of the field-side wiring. The 5069-RTB5-SCREW Removable Terminal Block does not support removal or insertion under power. Always verify that the external power is turned off and disconnected before removal or installation.
The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB5-SCREW Removable Terminal Block is supplied in a kit that contains a 5069-RTB5-SCREW Removable Terminal Block and some factory-supplied terminal screws for installation. The 5069-RTB5-SCREW Removable Terminal Block supports standard solid or stranded shielded copper conductors with 22 to 16 AWG (0.5 x 1.5 square millimeters) maximum wire size. At least 12 millimeters (0.47 inches) of insulation must be stripped from the wires before inserting the wires into the terminal. The 5069-RTB5-SCREW Removable Terminal Block features 5 screw-end terminals that are used for the system side and field-side wiring. To wire the MOD power source to the MOD power RTB, strip the wires’ insulation as required, insert the wires into the terminal, and turn the screw (with at least 0.5 to 0.6 N-m of screw torque) to connect the terminal and the wires firmly.
The Allen-Bradley 5069-RTB5-SCREW Removable Terminal Block is a 5-pin wiring base for the Compact 5000 I/O modules. This RTB is used with the 5069-AENTR EtherNet/IP adapter module, and it has screw-type terminals.
