The 5069-L350ERS2 Safety Controller is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as a member of the 5069 Compact 5000 series. This controller comes with 5 Megabytes of standard memory plus 2.5 Megabytes of safety memory with 120 Ethernet/IP Nodes. It features 31 local I/O expansion points and it also supports DIN rail mounting. The 5069 Compact 5000 devices, including the 5069-L350ERS2 Safety Controller, are part of the Logix 5000 controller series. These controllers are engineered to offer a scalable controller solution for addressing various applications ranging from standalone control structures to more advanced systems, including devices that are connected to a corresponding controller through the EtherNet/IP network. The Logix 5000 controllers are designed to help monitor and control the remote and local I/O modules and the devices that connect through the EtherNet/IP network.

Not all of the 5069 Compact 5000 controllers support integrated motion through the EtherNet/IP network. Some of them use a Dual-IP mode or the Linear and DLR mode as well as 2 Ethernet ports which allow the controller to the EtherNet and IP enterprise-level networks and device-level networks. Other notable features of Allen-Bradley 5069-L350ERS2 Safety Controller include the 1784-SD2 and 1784-SD1 SD cards as its non-volatile memory. Additionally, the unit features a USB programming port for enabling temporary connection.
