This lightweight SIL 3 controller weighs only 1.2 kilograms (2.645 pounds) and it is also designed to have small physical dimensions of 143.71 x 153.5 x 136.81 millimeters (5.65 x 6.04 x 5.39 inches) and this makes it ideal to be installed in places where having a small footprint is a necessity or an advantage. However, the most important feature of the Allen-Bradley 5069-L310ER GuardLogix 5380 SIL 3 Controller is its Safety Integrity Level or SIL rating of 3 that serves as a measure of its system performance, and gives it a low probability of failure during operation, a low chance of downtime, and increased productivity for safety-related operations in a wide variety of industrial applications.
