The Allen-Bradley 5069-L306ERM Compact GuardLogix SIL 2 Controller works as the Central Processing Unit or CPU of the 5069 CompactLogix Programmable Logic Controllers or PLCs, when the Safety Integrity Level or SIL requirements of the user application is high. The Allen-Bradley 5069-L306ERM Compact GuardLogix SIL 2 Controller comes from factory with 2 Ethernet port, which allow the users to connect the controller into their plant control algorithms by using either a single IP address for both Ethernet ports (the Linear/DLR communication mode) or by using an independent IP address on each port (the Dual-IP communication mode). The dimensions of this module are 143.97 millimeters x 98.10 millimeters x 136.81 millimeters (5.67 inches x 3.86 inches x 5.39 inches), and it is specifically designed for DIN rail mounting. Only horizontal installation is allowed.
