About 5069-FPD
The 5069-FPD module is a field potential distributor module manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is used with the 5069 Compact 5000 I/O module. It comes with a voltage rating of 18 to 32 Volts DC. This distributor module helps to provide additional SA power bus current in the 5069 I/O system. It breaks the field side power distribution, blocks the current that passes across the SA power bus to the left of the distributor, and it establishes a new SA power bus. It is installed on the right side of the host module. The 5069-FPD module is needed when the total number of I/O modules draw more than 10 milliamps of current from the SA RTB on the Ethernet/IP adapter. The field power distributor has an open enclosure. The front of the module has an LED indicator to show the power status. There are ground terminals on the bottom of the module.
The Allen-Bradley 5069-FPD distributor module has a maximum power dissipation rating of 4 Watts and a thermal dissipation rating of 13.6 BTU per hour maximum.
