The 1788-EN2DNROM linking device is an industrial linking device for the Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet networks. The 1788-EN2DNROM linking device is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is designed to provide a seamless connection between device-level networks and control-level or information networks. The 1788-EN2DNROM linking devices comes with an IP 67 environmental protection rating, which means that it can be used safely in harsher and more demanding environments than most other linking devices from the 1788 product line. It can handle all the functionalities of the DeviceNet network, which allows it to connect as many as 63 DeviceNet slave devices to the Ethernet/IP network through an Ethernet TCP/IP interface device that has an HTTP web server.
