The 1788-CN2FF linking device is a member of the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1788 linking device product line. The 1788-CN2FF linking device ships from the factory with some settings that are preconfigured but that can be reset by the operators when the linking device is installed and powered up for the first time. Ensure that the power is disconnected before any of the configuration switches on the linking device are reset. The 1788-CN2FF linking device can connect 1 or 2 Foundation Fieldbus H1 networks at a time to the ControlNet network. There are multiple Fieldbus devices connected in a single Foundation Fieldbus H1 network and at least 1 function block per field device in the Foundation Fieldbus H1 network.
