The Allen-Bradley 1715-IF16 input module is a 16-point 1715 Redundant I/O series analog input module. The least significant bit for the module’s data input value is 0.98 µA. The 1715-IF16 module was designed for accurate analog signal processing. It maintains stable performance even in fluctuating temperatures with a temperature drift rating of (0.01% + 0.3 µA) per ºC. The operating voltage range of the 1715-IF16 module is 18 to 32V DC, and its supply current rating is 260 mA. The maximum power dissipation rating of the 1715-IF16 module is 4 Watts. In combined module and termination assembly setups, the maximum power dissipation rating is 5.28 W. The module supports a maximum slew rate of 700 mA/s. It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -25 to 60°C (-13 to 140°F) with a maximum surrounding air temperature of 70°C (158°F). In non-operating conditions, it can withstand temperatures from -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F). The 1715-IF16 is engineered to endure harsh industrial conditions. Its vibration resistance rating is 2 g at 10 to 500 Hz, and its operating shock resistance ratings include 25 g of shock in DIN rail setups and 30 g of shock in panel setups.
