The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLSRED module is a dual input diode redundancy module for series 1606-XLS high-performance switched mode power supplies. It can be used to build 1+1 and N+1 redundant systems. The module has 2 input channels and 1 output channel. The 1606-XLSRED redundancy module can also be used to separate sensitive loads from non-sensitive loads. The nominal output voltage of the module is 12 to 8 Volts DC. The input current is 2 x 10 Amps and the output current is 20 Amps. The input voltage range is 9 to 60 Volts DC. The nominal current per module is 10 Amps. The nominal output current is 20 Amps and the maximum short circuit current is 25 Amps. The voltage drop between input and output is 800 millivolts.
