The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS480G 3-Phase Power Supply is a state-of-the-art, microprocessor-based, solid-state 3-phase power supply module that has been designed and built by Allen-Bradley for providing power to a wide variety of industrial automation devices, such as standalone controllers, programmable logic controllers, industrial computers, and human-machine interfaces. The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS480G 3-Phase Power Supply is able to use either 100 to 240 Volts AC voltage or 110 to 300 Volts DC voltage as its input in order to generate a stable DC operating voltage in a range between 36 and 43 Volts DC. The dimensions (W x H x D) or this power source are 64 millimeters x 124 millimeters x 102 millimeters and its weight is 740 grams. It has an operating temperature range between -25 and +70 degrees Celsius (-13 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit).

The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS480G 3-Phase Power Supply Module has a rated steady-state input current of 4.56/2.48 Amps at 120/230 Volts AC. This power supply module can be operated in parallel with other similar power supplies in order to provide the voltage and power that is needed for large-scale applications to operate successfully. The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS480G 3-Phase Power Supply Module can also be installed with the “DC OK” relay feature, which consists of a semiconductor relay that receives feedback from the output signal and that is able to interrupt the operation of the power supply in the event of a major malfunction in the power supply. The input current from the power grid can reach up to 0.65 Amps per line, with no major disturbances in the device’s operation.

The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS480G Three-Phase Power Supply transforms an input power of either 100 to 240 Volts AC or 110 to 300 Volts DC voltage into an output voltage of 36 to 43 Volts DC, with an efficiency of up to 95%. This power supply module is intuitive to install with its push-in lever-type wire receptacles that are marked with the corresponding type of connections they are designed to accommodate.
