The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS80E Power Supply is a single-phase, solid-state electronic power supply module whose function is to transform an input voltage of either 100 to 240 Volts AC or 110 to 300 Volts DC into a stable, low-ripple 24 to 28 Volts DC rated output voltage. The generated DC voltage can be used in diverse industrial, commercial, and residential applications, such as powering up industrial automation systems, CCTV systems, and domestic security alarms applications. The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS80E Power Supply is able to deliver a rated power of 80 Watts, with a current rating of 3.3 Amps and a short circuit current of 5.2 Amps. Short-circuit protection is provided through a 6-Amps slow-blow fuse that is identified with the Allen-Bradley catalog number 1489-A1C060. Parallel operation is allowed on this power supply, but it does not have the “DC OK” relay feature that is present in the rest of the power supplies in the 1606-XLS family.
