The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS480F-3 3-Phase Power Supply is a 3-phase member of the 1606 series of power supplies, and it is able to operate with an input power ranging between 380 and 480 Volts AC or with a 600 Volts DC source. The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS480F-3 3-Phase Power Supply uses a 6 Amps slow-blow fuse that is sold separately and known as the 1489-A3C060 fuse for providing short-circuit protection at the input voltage side. The rated steady-state input current of the power supply, when connected to a 400 to 480 Volts AC power source, is 0.65 Amps per line, or 1.95 Amps total. The quality of the voltage signal generated by this power source can be monitored by using what is known as the “DC OK” relay, which serves as an alarm system that can interrupt power in case of excessive deviation from the preset operation parameters.
