The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS480EE Power Supply transforms a 220 Volts AC rated supply voltage from the power grid into a stable 24 Volts DC rated voltage which can be used by the end users to provide power to a wide variety of industrial devices, dedicated process controllers, industrial computers, human-machine interfaces, programmable logic controllers, and servo controllers. The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS480EE Power Supply delivers a rated power of 480 Watts, with a rated current of 20 Amps. Because this power supply module is customized for 220 Volts AC input power only, its internal circuits are simplified, making it a cheaper solution for more specific applications. Its dimensions of 64 millimeters in height x 124 millimeters in width x 102 millimeters in depth, and its weight of 740 grams are the same as those of the other power supplies in the series.

The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS480EE Power Supply has been built with an open style construction, and it has only an IP 20 environmental protection rating.
