Allen-Bradley manufactured the 1336 PLUS II drive series as a series of adjustable frequency AC drives that are designed to provide speed control solutions for motors in a wide range of applications. The 1336 Plus II drives share the same basic designs, control interface options, and device communication options as the rest of the 1336 series, and this makes integration, installation, and maintenance simple. The 1336 PLUS II drives are available with output power ratings ranging from 0.37 to 448 kilowatts (0.5 to 600 Horsepower) and voltage ratings of 200 to 240 Volts AC, 380 to 480 Volts AC, and 500 to 600 Volts AC. There are several available frame sizes, including A1-4, B1-2, C, D, and E. The 1336 PLUS II drives have constant torque and variable torque capabilities. For exceptional speed and torque control, the 1336 Plus II drives use programmable pulse width modulation (PWM) frequency with adjustable output voltage, and these outputs can be easily fine-tuned to provide the desired performance under varying loads. The 1336 PLUS II drives include fault detection and overload protection features, as well as real-time preventative maintenance and fault reporting features. The 1336 PLUS II drives support motor control via standard Volts per Hertz control technology with an adjustable curve, and with sensorless vector control (SVC) technology that supports outstanding speed and torque performance with as much as 250% higher starting torque. The 1336 PLUS II drives can support adjustable I/O interfaces, optional HMI modules, remote I/O (RIO), RS-232/422, and DeviceNet serial communications options, and multiple language options. These drives are available in IP00, IP20 (NEMA 1), or IP54 (NEMA 12) enclosures. These drives also comply with the CE, CSA, UL, and C-TICK standards.
