Allen Bradley engineered the 1336S-BRF15-AE-DE4 is an adjustable frequency AC drive aligned with the 1336 PLUS AC drive family, which can be utilized for applications such as, industrial automation, residential and commercial HVAC, food and beverage processing, water and wastewater treatment, and material handling. The output of the 1336S-BRF15-AE-DE4 drive is rated at 1.2 kilowatts (1.5 Horsepower) at input voltages ranging from 380 to 480 volts AC or 513 to 620 volts DC. The drive can operate in both constant and variable torque modes, and the continual torque mode and variable torque mode have rated output currents of 2.8 amps and 3 amps, respectively. This drive uses only 3-phase input for the full rated output power and current levels; by using a single-phase power, the output is derated so that the maximum output current is 50% of the regular rated amount. This drive operates at elevations above 3300 feet and also results in output derating. This AC drive uses a sine-coded PWM control mechanism. Its supported carrier frequencies range from 2 to 10 kilohertz. The drive is housed in an IP20 class or NEMA type 1 housing with an A1 frame size. Its air temperature varies from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) range at full load condition, and the storage temperature varies from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius (-40 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit); the drive works best when the relative humidity in the air is between 5 and 95%. Overall, this AC drive is a versatile and reliable drive that can be used to control a wide range of motors in a variety of applications.
