The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1203-SG2 splitter module is an accessory module that is available from the 1203 communication module series. The 1203-SG2 splitter module was designed to be part of an industrial communication system where signals need to be split for certain applications. Both 2-port splitter modules and 4-port splitter modules are available for different systems and applications. The 1203-SG2 splitter module comes with 2 ports. It also comes with an environmental protection rating of NEMA Type 1 or IP 30. This splitter module is intended for applications with the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1305 series of drives. Some of the other accessories that can be used alongside the 1203-SG2 splitter module in a 1305 drive controller system include DeviceNet communication modules, SLC/SCANport modules, Flex I/O SCANport terminal bases, and Flex I/O SCANport modules.

Its ambient operating temperature range is between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius or 32 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit. The atmosphere in the operating and storage environments should never be corrosive or full of condensation, and the ambient humidity levels should be between 5 and 95%.
