The 100-B250ND3 contactor is a magnetic contactor designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley. This magnetic contactor is part of the Allen-Bradley’s Bulletin 100 product line. The 100-B250ND3 magnetic contactor may be customized for specific applications by adding up to five auxiliary contacts. The auxiliary contacts in this magnetic contactor are made entirely of pure silver, whereas the primary contact is made of an alloy of silver. If used properly in the right conditions, this 100-B250ND3 magnetic contactor has an operating life of about 5 million operations. Its maximum operational rating is 300 operations per hour. The recommended torque for the energy wires attached to the Allen Bradley 100-B250ND3 magnetic contactor is 42 N-m, or 375 pounds per inch. The 100-B250ND3 contactor unit can operate with one (1) to five (5) pure silver auxiliary contacts and has a 5 million operation rating. It is not recommended to use the 100-B250ND3 magnetic contactor in environments with significant concentrations of dust or debris or prolonged exposure to moisture due to its extremely low IP00 class environmental protection certification. This magnetic contactor can tolerate relative humidity levels of up to 95 percent as long as there is not any humidity condensation. Despite having a low environmental protection rating, this magnetic contactor has zinc coating and chromate protection on all its metal (steel) components to prevent corrosion. The operating temperature varies from -25 - 55 degrees Celsius (-13 - 131 degrees Fahrenheit); the storage temperatures are between -40 and 149 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 and 65 degrees Celsius)
