ABB Block Relay Output Normally Closed 16 Circuits

Technical Information

The catalog number 6248BP10812 is the catalog number for an ABB/Taylor relay output block that is compatible with several different industrial programmable controllers. This relay output block comes with 16 normally-closed circuits. The operating voltage range of the output block is 93 to 132 Volts AC and the nominal voltage rating is 115 Volts AC. The relay output block has outputs that are separated into 4 isolated groups and it includes LED indicators. The LEDs integrated into the 6248BP10812 relay output block are intended for signaling that the unit is operating properly and that outputs are enabled. The circuit LEDs represent the current operating state of the individual relay coils.

The 6248BP10812 relay output block has an operating frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz and it needs 87 milliamps of current from the power supply. In addition to that, the power supply dropout time is 1 cycle. The isolation voltage is 1500 Volts AC and the heat dissipation is 10.1 Watts when all the outputs are turned on. The 6248BP10812 relay output block has a maximum output current of 2 Amps per circuit and maximum switching power of 60 Watts or 125 Volt-Amps. Like the maximum output current, the maximum inrush current of the unit is also 2 Amps per circuit. The output leakage current when the unit is turned off is 0.1 milliamp. The 6248BP10812 output relay block has a maximum switching frequency of 20 cycles per minute and output turn-on delay of 5 milliseconds. The block component has an output voltage range of 5 to 250 Volts AC or 5 to 220 Volts DC while the minimum recommended load is 10 milliamps.
